Here is finally a new post! A couple of weeks ago I finnished Scheepjes CAL 2016, Last Dance on the Beach, an incredibly beautiful blanket! And a fun CAL where you get to try new techniques!

When I posted pics of my blanket in some Face-book groups I got quite a few requests on what yarn I have used and other things so I decided on a post to cover that and some tips and tricks I picked up on the way doing the CAL. Enjoy 🙂

Pattern for Annette’s Beanie!

Svenska här

Now we have winter in Sweden and the last days have been really cold, like -20 degrees Celcius (-4 degrees Farenheight) so it is really time for warm and cozy hats and beanies.

The other day I saw this really cute hat at All About Ami’s blog, and I loved it!

And since I hade the perfect yarn just lying around I decided to give it a try! But I soon realised I didn’t really care for the visible join in the back, and I wasn’t too fond of the edging either.

So I tried to make my own version and was so happy with the result I had to share the pattern with you!

Sorry I haven’t posted for so long but I have been busy crocheting! I will participate in one of the christmas fairs in my town, Sigtuna Julmarknad . So if you by any chance are in Sweden and Stockholm the first sunday in December, come and see me!

One of my products is this lovely cowl that I have named after my beautiful daughter Lena. It is a quick and easy project, perfect as a christmas present! And my early christmas present to you is a free pattern!

Mandala Style Trivet Cover!

Svenska här

I don’t know if you use these cork trivets from IKEA? In Sweden you will find them in almost every household. IKEA has sold them for ages, they are handy and durable, and they have always been really cheap you can replace them when they get dirty.

Downside is they aren’t that stylish… Lately I’ve been seeing crochetet covers for these trivets on Pinterest and I decided to make one that matches my Mandala Style Placemats.

A trivet with a cover would make a very nice gift or christmas present and since the trivets are 3,99 $ for three (and probably just as cheap in all countries that have IKEA), this project doesn’t ruin you. So here is the pattern!

Wrapped in Lace Shawl!

Svenska här

I just wanted to show you my new shawl! I had warm summer nights in mind making it, but our Swedish summer has so far been rainy and cool, so I will have to bring it to Crete when I go there in the beginning of Oktober. And I can use it as a scarf wintertime.

Roasted Nut Butter with Seeds!

Svenska här

I use nut butter every day for my breakfast egg chai and I used to make plain hazelnut butter. But then I read somewhere that you can mix nuts and seeds and toast them lightly before making the nut butter. It made a huge difference, so, so tasty!

Mandala Style Placemats!

I wanted some new place mats for my kitchentable and searched the internet for a pattern but I couldn’t find one I liked. But in the search I stumbled upon this pattern, Little Spring Mandala, and fell in love!

I decided to try go grow it into place mats and I have to say I am really pleased with the result, being the first time I try to grow a pattern. So I desided to share the pattern with you guys!

Lace Skull bag!

It has been a long time since I wrote something for my blog, life has been busy 🙂 But there has been time for crochet and I recently posted a pic on Facebook of this skull bag I made for my daughter.

There were quite a few requests for the pattern so I thought I would try to describe how I made it.
